
TeleMedik obtains its URAC re-accreditation as a Health Contact Center for the Nurse Advice Line guidance and education service

Guaynabo, Puerto Rico– TeleMedik is proud to announce that it has obtained URAC accreditation as a Health Contact Center for its NAL (Nurse Advice Line) service. URAC is the independent leader in promoting the quality of healthcare by setting high standards for clinical practice, consumer protection, performance measurement, operations infrastructure and risk management. By achieving this status, TeleMedik has demonstrated its commitment to quality care, improved processes, patient safety, and better outcomes.
TeleMedik’s Telephone Triage Unit (Nurse Advice Line) is a health, education and guidance service, accredited by URAC since 2001 and with more than 26 years of experience in the health industry. It has nursing professionals who provide their patients with clinical evaluations and care recommendations. In this service, calls are received, evaluated and channeled through the advice of nursing staff through algorithms with scientific evidence reviewed annually by the TeleMedik Clinical Committee. The call center operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
